Why Girls’ Education ?
The Aspire Beyond Girl Child Foundation confronts numerous challenges in its mission to support prepubertal and adolescent females. These girls often face significant obstacles, including limited access to education, high rates of teenage pregnancy, unsafe abortions, gender-based violence, sexually transmitted infections, and sexual abuse.
Additionally, inadequate knowledge about menstrual hygiene and pubertal changes further exacerbates their difficulties. Many girls lack access to essential sanitary products, which affects their health and dignity. The foundation also grapples with the pervasive issues of gender-based violence and sexual abuse, which require robust awareness campaigns and reporting mechanisms to address effectively.
